The passing of Brother George A. Imlach
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are grieved to report the September 8th passing of our Local 2 Brother George
A. Imlach at the age of 92. George was initiated into membership in 1952 and was
for many years CBS-TV’s Shop Carpenter. He retired in April of 1991 and became a
Gold Card Member in 2002. Our thoughts are with his family.
His obituary, provided by Lawrence Funeral Home, is below:
George A. Imlach, age 92. U.S. Army Veteran, long time member of Masonic Lodge 855
and Medinah Shriners over 50 years. beloved husband of the late Eleanor and the
late Donnamae; loving brother of Jean (Jerry) Sychowski and the late Albert (the
late Mary) Imlach; cherished uncle of Carol (Bill) Hebel, Linda (David) Anderson,
Marianne (Mark) Evans, Mark (Debbie) Sychowski, Craig (Lisa) Sychowski and Geri
Sychowski; dear great-uncle of Steven (Lauren) Christiano and Ryker Sychowski; fond
great-great-uncle of Dexter Christiano. George dedicated his life as a stage hand
and a carpenter for over 50 years. Visitation Wednesday, September 13, from 4 to
9 pm; Masonic service time pending Wednesday evening. Funeral service and interment
will be private. Interment Oak Ridge-Glen Oak Cemetery. For more information, please
