Robert Coughlin has been an active member of IATSE Local Two for 43 years, having joined the Local in 1966. In his early years as a stagehand, BC, as he is known, travelled for three years with the national touring company of “Hair”. He also travelled with many musical groups and personalities, working in Bearsville and Woodstock. His travels have also included industrial shows for major corporations such as IBM, McDonalds, and State Farm.

In Chicago BC has worked seven years at the Arie Crown Theater as an Audio Engineer. For the past 18 years he has worked at the Fairmont Hotel where his years of relationship with Management are invaluable.

BC was elected to the Trustee Board in 1998, and continues to serve in that capacity.
